Session with International Labour Organisation (ILO)

A workshop was organized in BIA with International Labour Organisation (ILO), which is implementing a Project in South Asia on “Building Resilience for the Future of Work and the Post-COVJD-19: Promoting Rights and Social Inclusion through Organization and Formalization” (PRS) Project.

Ms Heejin Ahn, Project Technical Coordinator based in Nepal with Ms Baishali Lahiri, National Project Coordinator representing ILO discussed issues related primarily related to safety, education and security of Labours from Bihar.

Secretary General Shri Amarnath Jaiswal welcomed the Guests. Shri D. P. Singh – Chairman, Labour Resource Committee presided over the meeting and Treasurer CA Arvind Kumar presented Vote of Thanks. Shri Sachin Chandra – Chairman, Infrastructure Dev. Committee, Shri Vivek Kumar Jhunjhunwala, Shri R. K. Kanth, Shri G. P. Singh, Shri Sudhi Ranjan, Shri Prem Kumar interacted with the ILO Team and submitted their view on the subject.
